Meat (Mutton) Recipe

Meat Masala, also known as Mutton Masala, is a classic Indian curry loved for its deep flavors and rich gravy. Made with aromatic spices and tender meat, this dish is perfect for special occasions and family meals. Using Roopak Meat (Mutton) Masala helps you prepare an authentic, restaurant-style mutton curry at home.

Ingredients

  • 800 gms mutton, cleaned and cut into small pieces
  • 4 medium onions (chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 5 teaspoons Roopak Meat (Mutton) Masala
  • 1 cup water (for masala paste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

How to Make Meat (Mutton) Masala?

First, clean the mutton properly and cut it into small pieces. Keep it aside.

Heat four tablespoons of oil in a deep pan. Add the chopped onions and fry until they turn golden brown. Now add the chopped garlic and stir for three minutes until aromatic.

In a bowl, mix five teaspoons of Roopak Meat (Mutton) Masala with one cup of water to make a smooth paste. Add this paste to the fried onions. Cook and stir until the oil starts separating from the masala.

Add the mutton pieces to the pan and cook on high flame. Stir well so the meat pieces get sealed and coated with the masala.

Now add one cup of water and bring the curry to a boil. Cover and cook until the meat becomes tender. Once cooked, lower the flame and simmer on medium heat for ten minutes to enhance the flavor.

Sprinkle Roopak Shahi Garam Masala before serving for added aroma and taste.
